Hi folks... this is the first ever blog i am posting. Like to share my experience of getting selected to a well established MNC Mahindra Satyam. On the way from a rural place in the outskirts of Tamilnadu where opportunities are i say is so scarced, Got my engineering seat in Coimbatore without the payment of any capitation fee so you'd guess its a government seat. Engineering well its a tough task climbing four complete years as you are trekking in a rocky mountain. Not that great maintained a seven point something in my grades. OMG i forgot something. I had to tell you about the friends which i made from college. All of them really a freak. This will make them mad after reading this. But I'd say "F" you guys cox this is my blog. I have rights to what i write here. So it went three fruitful years with happiness,sorrows,smiles,tears etc etc I'd say. Here it is the final year and the final semester. The time when you really scratch your head with your project and to prepare for the placements. Hardly i was concerned over. Still playful as the rest of three years which I'd spend behind. So couple of months passed attended fifteen interviews. Do you think its bad? Yes i guess so i felt really mad. Messing up my academic performance and not having pre planned preparations really was a concern for me.And the day came when i saw Mahindra Satyam 3.1p.a on February 22. Prepared what i can the previous day of interview. And finally Feb 22 i was in college with a little concern speaking to myself "you have to do this man, thats what you meant to be here and this is the final chance. If you dont crack this then you piss yourself". The stage was set, the interview officials taking lecture with powerpoint presentation and some video presentations about the company. Finally it came the aptitude test which was fully online. We had some tips as how to attend the test in a time efficient manner. I did the test well.. Will i get into that that was my only thought,
Finally the announcement of results of the first round. One, two thats my number OMg i am shocked, stunned which ever suits to the situation. I went to the stage facing everyone hands, legs shivering like anything. I was handed a form as the application for the company. But i had two more obstacles to cross over for the final joy. Then came the technical interview where i am supposed to answer to some technical questions.I was nervous damn nervous. The interviewer asked to cut loose my muscles so that i can answer freely. I was asked by some easy questions but i was not in a free mood to answer. Even though i know the answers my answer was 'Sir...I...' . But I did answers sensibly to some of his questions,. Finally i was asked to wait for my final interview which was easy and general. Alas it was time for the last interview. The interviewer found it difficulty in calling my first name and called me up by my last name. I went in greeted him good evening that was the time of day it is. He asked me some funny questions and i enjoyed answering it. All over finally the results was about to be announced.. I was biting my nails though i know thats bad. But it was take it easy i was selected joy,smiles,laughter etc etc in my mind. I have done it a dream come true. A guy with seven point something from not well named engineering college had made it to Satyam. Well this is al i can do it for now hope you liked. Little inexperience which makes my language sometimes ordinary and the points that are not upto the mark.
